Some About Me
I am Arielle, architect by profession, material designer by heart. I live in Tel Aviv, where I combine material research, creative work, industrial consulting, and teaching. I enjoy bridging between science and design, industry and art. I explore materials and their self-morphing capacities. Together with physicist Eran Sharon, we dream of frustrated matter at architectural scale, both at Sharon’s lab (Hebrew University), and in my newly established FrustratedLab at the Faculty of Architecture (Technion). With textile designer Shira Shoval, we stretch these explorations towards artistic expression and unknown territories. I specialise in architectural composite materials, leading the architectural development at Xenom composites, where I contribute to the local evolution of composite materials in architectural applications. I enjoy sharing my experience and passion for materials and architecture in leading academic institutions of architecture and design
