The encounter beween european material culture and local Israeli enteriors and aesthetics is materialised in a textile installation. The classic European drapery, the Russian  ‘drapirovka’, ‘French curtain’ or ‘rideaux à la Venitienne’, is installed in a local context, and activated by a-synchronised motors. The drapery’s choreography and contrasting materiality create a spatial disruption, a reflection on cultural and material conflicts.
